The Nokia N8, a great phone with HDMI capability and great sound so I guess it can withstand a 720p HDMI video and 5.1 channel audio. The N8 uses a “native mode” which means the controls and the video screen are not at the same place.

The controls on the phone and the video on TV makes it hard for the users to control everything at once

If the device had ‘clone mode’ than the phones image will be copied and pasted on to the TV minimizing the resolution but having “native mode” allows full capacity of using the HDMI function.

The audio on this device is amazing with 5.1 Dolby Digital Plus support. Nokia did say that this won’t be the baby version but the actual real thing.

Playing games with this phone should be superb due to its high quality features eg: Sound and resolution.

Nokia really did us, customers a favor by putting the ability of HDMI capability maximizing our opportunity of excellent images, videos and movies.
