DSTV Mobile on the Nokia N8
Sometimes you at work or somewhere besides your house. You get bored, but don’t know what to do. In these situations, the Nokia N8 would the perfect technology to play around with.
The N8 features DSTV Mobile. I do have to say that you don’t have to pay for the service but you do have to register with the service.
The registering questions are: Date of birth, Do you have DSTV at home?, Your sex.
When done registering, you have access to three channels namely: Euro news, Blitz SS and Saswee. I’m not sure what Saswee is but it sounds like a Botswana channel.
DSTV hasn’t said anything about them having DSTV Mobile on the N8 but insiders claim that they will soon comment on the subject. There are other channels that will be added to it but not so soon as they do need to be tested.
Non of the channels support landscape mode which is unpleasing for me. I love landscape mode, it allows me to relax from the old boring portrait vision.
The menu does show the sow time but the user can’t put reminders like on the TV.
In conclusion, the DSTV Mobile is worth it as it does replace the boredom.
