This item was filled under [ How-to guides, Others ]

Every device has a maximum file size support, the Nokia N8 for one, I have never experienced this kind of problem. But to be sure that anyone never comes across this problem. WinRar for the Nokia N8 does the job. Compress a file in the N8 before sending it anywhere. Music files can be large at times. There is another way that you can easily send files to you computer, Check it out after the break.

When the file is compressed, the file format is changed to either rar, .zip, .tar, .7z or .gzip. Your computer should be able to extract all of the file formats but my N8 can only extract .zip files. If you aren’t interested in following all these steps, then you best option would be to either copy or move the file to a USB or an external storage.

Both of these ways are good but in the end of the day, I want to get the file to my PC so I can upload it, the fastest way between these 2 is to copy the file to a USB or an external storage. To send a file to your PC via email can be hectic as you need a WLAN connection or a data plan to transfer a file that big.
