The Nokia Beta Labs only provides either beta or experimental applications. This means that there can be bugs and they may affect other applications such as the Nokia Internet Radio for the Nokia N8. You may have downloaded NetQin applications and AppStop from the Ovi Store to prevent the Beta applications from harming other applications but the end result would be that it won’t help.

Just like a computer, when it doesn’t function or an application has gone haywire, you normally would trace your steps back and delete the harmful applications. Unfortunately, the Nokia N8 runs on Symbian^3 OS and not Windows 7 OS so it can’t be classified as a computer but you still do have to trace your path back and delete those beta and experimental apps on your device, preferably, all of them. Then only the Nokia Internet Radio would work.

There are other alternatives for the radio but they don’t exactly allow the user to listen to a radio stations from around the globe but rather just specific stations e.g just music.
