The Nokia Maps for Nokia N8, has been updated – now showing weather. Nokia Maps now has many more new features, the live traffic routing info included into the Drive start screen, the SmartInstaller now has a new UI which shows the installation of every maps related app therefore you need a constant internet connection, WLAN is recommended.

The weather app does give problems in the beginning whereby it first mentions that it can’t load the weather forecast but later it suddenly starts to work. The app does have ads at the top but don’t interfere with the app usage. Weather is only available till the next 4 days, the degrees, sunset and sunrise time as well as the maximum and minimum temperature are shown. You can toggle the weather view from day forecast to weekly forecast.
