The Americans are expecting the Nokia N8 at a price of $549 which is quiet expensive considering the dollar price in the market but both quotations are without tax or subsidies. Expected to ship towards the end of September but told on be shipped at the end of October at the Nokia N8 launch in South Africa, Sandton on the 17 August 2010.

I don’t know if the consumers think this is worth it but I most certainly do considering the newly developed software and the amount of work and effort put into this device.

This is told to be the last device to hold a Symbian user interface so I guess the word Symbian might be substituted for the MeeGo interface. The Symbian users will just have to adapt to it.

This phone will be the first device to have a 12-mega pixel camera in some countries.

In other countries, the following prices are expected to be : £324 GBP for the UK, around $490 in Canada (of course in Canadian Dollars),as expensive as Rs. 22000 in India, $530 in Australia (in Australian Dollars), RM 1540 in Malaysia and but BDT 32000 in some parts of Bangladesh.
