I can finally give the customers exactly what had been requested for which is information on the N8 and a proper release date in parts of Africa. No other website has a confirmed release date in Africa but I do.

(Codename Vasco) Nokia set the N8 release date for South Africa in week 33 but it has not been launched which means that a few problems are visiting the Nokia N8. But then again Nokia sent an email to my sources saying that it has been delayed because the new Symbian^3 OS are giving problems so they are postponing the release date to week 44, after 11 weeks its told to be launched.

Nokia also said that the device will be released in Nigeria as well as West Africa, Eastern and Southern parts of the world will have the device in week 32 which again didn’t happen which also means that more problems have occurred. For these countries, the postponed week is also week 44.

For level 3 service, the parts list, service tools and the module jig has just began to be available but as for the level 2 service, the parts list and service tools just began.

The contact center and the online support are trained to assist with the Nokia N8 but as for the care readiness issues, the face to face training has not started but the care policy is complete.
