During the process of charging with your Nokia N8, the clock comes on as it is on a sort of “stand by mode”. It is kind of boring to have it next to you and having to see the same appearance every time, that is one of the reasons why the Nokia Beta Labs created this. The way that this works is that it shows different animations with beautiful crafted images. This application makes the Nokia N8 stand out from the crowd when you can just have a glimpse of the  unread text messages, missed calls with a bonus of clear icons and animations regarded as reminders. It is much easier to have this installed rather than each time unlocking the device and looking to see if any missed call arrived or if you received any message at all.

Since this is experimental, there may be issues. Till date, the only recognized issue with this from the Beta labs is that when the Nokia Sleeping Screen is active, the Torch-light feature does not work.
