MobileFun recently sent us a XMI X-mini II Mini Speaker for a review which we decided to include here at the Nokia N8 Blog. The Nokia N8 already being a multimedia device didn’t make much of a difference when the speaker was used with the Nokia N8, the loudest song available on the device was used.

The speaker being so small made it easy to carry it around anywhere especially since it has its own carrying bag which not only the speaker can fit in but the extra cable which can be used as a charger since it only allows 11 hours of continuous playback. If the customer has more than one speaker then it can be all plugged at once using the “Buddy Jack” system, thus achieving more sound at once.

By compacting the speaker, the bass can be minimized since it originates from the middle of the speaker. Looking at the customer reviews of the product, it shows that many are happy that the speaker has a on/off button which saves power, a factor contributing to the 11 hours of continuous playback music.

When the speaker was put to test, with full volume that it produced – the speaker could be used for almost a whole soccer field, the speaker started to shake around with so much sound.

This mobile phone accessory for the Nokia N8 is definitely recommended.
