Due to technical difficulties, I didn’t report about the last 3 days. Tuesday held a surprise for some, PR 1.2 was unveiled for some of the Symbian^3 OS smartphones. Unfortunately, the Nokia E7 was excluded as it is still new. Even though this is the new update, something essential will be missing.

The QWERTY hasn’t been seen but the first C7 to be shown at the T-Mobile Astound will be the first to feature it, the portrait keyboard supplies the user with a split screen functionality, allowing the user to visualize the area you’re typing in as well as the keyboard – which is pretty useful when entering text into web pages.

According to a few reports, the Nokia N8, other versions of the C7, C6-01 and te new E7 shall feature it after the T-Mobile Astound occasion.

This new keyboard will create much happiness as it is hard at times to drive and use Sywpe horizontally but this should be much better, especially if you have an automatic transmission car.
