Many people have an email address that have a different domain but is hosted by Gmail. Even though the IM for Nokia N8 allows Gmail accounts, you can easily use your email address that has a different domain as long as it is hosted by Gmail.

All you have to do is download the app from the Ovi Store then when it comes to signing into your Gmail account, instead of the domain being “gmail.com”, click on it and choose the second option. Then enter your email with the domain at the end.
