Will the Nokia N8 save Nokia?
It will be a bumpy ride to read this if you’re a Nokia shareholder, profits are down by 40% despite selling a bit more handsets than usual.
This is very serious considering the competitions with Apple and other major rivals in the industry. The Nokia CEO Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo is having serious pressure for his company so Nokia decided not to comment if he is on his way in or out.
Does this mean that the Nokia’s foundations are about to fall? A 40% drop is quiet hectic.
Symbian did develop a new software, maybe saving Nokia is the reason behind that or its to prove that it has ruled out Andriod from its choice of list.
The rumour is that the brand new software is actually “rubbish” but the Nokia N8 videos show something extremely to the contrary.
Nokia‘s Anssi Vanjoki, stated that he was “obsessed with getting Nokia back to being number one in high-end devices”.
Perhaps the N8 isn’t the device that will shine Nokia‘s name with the customers or maybe it is, lets just hope that Nokia can regain its name in the industry of mobile phones.
Don’t forget that MeeGo might be the one to release the burdens of Nokia‘s shoulders in the future but until that Nokia should again try its best to regain its status with its users.
